Cotton Spice FAQ's - -
1.
How can I see an issue of Cotton Spice?
We publish 4 issues a year.
March, June, September and December. First, you'll need
to register, and once that is finished just go to
Downloads and click on the issue you'd like to read.
It's easy!
2.
How come the issue won't download for me?
We don't know. We make the
magazine available in PDF format. It is the easiest way
to get you an issue which looks exactly like the issue
we created. First of all, you must have Adobe Reader.
You can get it
here. It's free and only takes a few minutes to
download.
If you have Adobe Reader and it
still doesn't work try this. Right click on the link for
the newsletter/Web Magazine and select Save As. A screen
will pop up giving you the option to save the file on
your own computer wherever you want. After choosing the
folder to save it in, click Save. Now, when you open
Adobe Reader you will be able to go to that file and
open it, reading it without difficulty.
If you think about all the
different computers out there, with all the different
operating systems, and internet services and speeds, and
different software combinations on the computers, it
would be nearly impossible to come up with one solution
that would work perfectly for everybody.
3.
What do I get with my registration?
You'll have access to every new
issue of Cotton Spice Quilting Magazine and every back
issue. Also the bulletin board and yoyo block library,
everything.
4.
Why do I have to register?
We like to know who's reading
Cotton Spice. It helps us know who our reader is and the
statistics are helpful for advertisers.
5.
Is my information private?
Your information is ABSOLUTELY
private. We will never sell or share your private
information with anyone for any reason. We're in the
quilt magazine business, not the email gathering
business. We don't like spam any more than you do and we
won't contribute to the spam business. (Although I hate
to call it business, cause it's not)
6.
Can I submit a quilt design if I'm not a 'quilt
designer'?
Of course! We welcome
submissions from everybody. See our
Submission Guidelines for more information.
7.
I've got something to say, who do I talk to?
We welcome all letters from
subscribers. You can
email Karen anytime. We like to publish comments
from our readers so please indicate the nature of the
letter - private or public.
If your question is not covered
here, please email
Karen and your answer will be on the way!
